Summarising

I was learning to summarise information. I can find the main ideas in a text and i can identify the keywords in a text it was tricky because i found it hard to answer some of the quetstions.

Persuasive Writing

I was learning to write a persuasive piece of  writing. I can think of lots of reasons why Ice-cream is better than chocolate. it was easy to persuasive the reader to think that Ice-cream  is better than chocolate because Ice-cream is very yummy!

Telling Time

I was learning to understand 24 hour time and write the time in numbers and words. I can read the time on the clock  and write it in digital time then in words. It was easy because i had already learnt to the tell time.

Making Connections

I was learning to make connections. i can use the phrase 'that reminds me of..' to identify experiences that are the same. I found this tricky because I could not think of anything that was similar to the stories.

Chinese Cultural Lessons

Place value

I was learning about place value.I can identify how many tens and ones are in two digit numbers. It was easy because the video we watched in class explained it well.

Making Inferences

I was learning to make inferences. I can identify and describe what the author wanted me to feel, think about or see in the text. It was tricky because it was not easy to find the clues in the text.

Punctuation Marks

I was learning about punctuation marks. I know to use each punctuation mark. It was easy because we have been using punctuation in marks class.

Contractions

Makeing Predictions

I was learning to make predictions. I can check to see if my predictions were right by using the text. It was tricky to make predictions because it was hard to tell what was going to happen.

Counting Forwards and Backwards in 10's

I was learning to skip count forwards and backwards in 10's. I can skip count forwards and backwards in 10's starting from any number.it was easy to skip count in 10's because ten is a tidy number.

Road Safety

Always use the zebra crossing.

Vowel Sounds

i wos learning about the short and long vowel sounds.i can tell the difference between the long and sort vowel sounds it wos easy to tell the difference between the vowel sounds because the video explained it well.

Skip Counting

i wos learning to skip counting in 2.s and 5.s i learnt how to skip count in 2.s and 5.s. it was easy to skip count in 5.s because i have learnt this before.

Plot

I was leaning about the plot in the story i learnt about the plot in the it was tricky to talk about the piot in the story because i havnt done it befor.
